No free Tech support over the phone. Emailed to get tech/security support (within warranty),but got Extremely poor customer service! E.I. Tech simply ignored my messages and requests for help! Nowhere else, no other email address to get help from! Trying to reach the sales department to get my complaints to a higher level,but unsuccessful--no reply! Software got high rating,but how good is it if customer service/Tech Support is Extremely Poor when your PC has an infection,but the software informed you that it could NOT remove the infection?! Do Not Ever buy Kaspersky unless you think you will NEVER need technical support!! You are on your own if you have an infection. You can only count on your luck if the software fails to rid of an infection!
Good antivirus, except I had trouble installing it because of corrupted system files. The only remedy to fix this situation is by downloading an earlier KIS and hope the old system files will work with the new one, as Windows detected them when installed.
This version(The latest version) seems to mess with various internet connections and slows down browsing. It was most noticable when uploading files to various hosts like RS, adrive, megashare exetra. As far as I know the version 8.0.0.357 was ok in that way but that version messed with my router timing out on the router setup page. Alex, I think Nod32 is still better but IDK about the Smart Security firewall integration part of it.
